15th March

Still c30 Bramblings between Cow Lane and Hollingworth Hall Farm this am, also in the area 1 Curlew, 2 Treecreepers, and a Tawny Owl.

Still c30 Bramblings with Chaffinches between Cow Lane and Hollingworth Hall Farm this am , also Treecreeper and Nuthatch.

c50+ Bramblings still between Cow Lane and Hollingworth Hall Farm.

Also 40 Redwing, 3 Fieldfare and a Peregrine over.

Bramblings still about in beech woodland below farm on Cow Lane and near Hollingwoth farm itself

Still 50+ Brambling mixed with about 20 Chaffinch at north end of Cow Lane. Also 30 Fieldfare, 10 Redwing, 3 Nuthatch, 2 Treecreeper & Coal Tit.

c50 Bramblings Between Cow Lane and Hollingworth Hall Farm (mainly in Beeches at the north end of Cow Lane) this am with a large flock of Chaffinches, flock is quite flighty and getting disturbed by walkers regularly. Also several more Bramblings in Beech trees by Hollingworth Hall Farm itself.

100+ Bramblings this morning between Cow Lane and Hollingworth Hall Farm, near the entrance to the farm. Accessed from Green Lane, Hollingworth or Hobson Moor Road. Also plenty of winter Thrushes in the area.
