I didn't even know I had a profanity filter on the forum- brilliant  !!!!!


I'll look into it, incidently the football game at St.James Park (home of Newcastle) apparently was halted last week when a Wood**** had to be removed from the pitch!

I had a nice addition to my garden list this morning when I flushed a Woodc-o-c-k whilst filling the feeders at about 7:30am. It flew round a couple of times before disappearing into the neighbouring wet field.


I have heard Snipe and Lapwing calling from the field the past few mornings.  I suspect the Lapwings that roost on the Boltongate retail area by day feed in this field at night.
