I'm not sure where you live but if it's Golbourne / Ashton area then yes there have been more.
They've been landing in fields along the East Lancs from Haydock Island to Lowton and also between Culcheth and the East Lancs. A few days ago I was at Barrow lane near Winwick and watched many skeins go over, totalling 2000+ birds heading from the direction of the Mersey and dropping in around the areas I've just described. What you're seeing will probably be these birds moving around.

Yeah I'm in Ashton Col and they are definitely heading in a SW direction. I wondered if they were heading out to wards the Dee but obviously the Mersey is that way too. Heard several skeins going over today, couldn't count them as I was working but three went over in my lunch break that numbered around 600+ total.

Maybe its just me but I seem to be seeing much more movement of Pink-feet this year. I'm probably seeing at least 1 or 2 skeins per day over the house whereas in previous years I'd probably see 1 or 2 per week, or am I imagining it?
