The other remote possibility is the Snowy Owl that was drifting around Anglesey, relocating to the hills

Need some detail of head shape, wing shape, tail shape, colour - anything

Maybe you could've (or still could) obtain a 'boc' shot Paul, otherwise it may be difficult proving it to the Welsh Records Panel should you submit the record, with reference to my post 08/01/18 on the North Wales & Anglesey thread.

Sorry for lack of photo. Ive come to the conclusion its a immature white tailed eagle as suggested. So much than anything ive seen

Without the photo or a brief description, it's hard to know. Size is so difficult to judge. Buzzard & Red Kite are the candidates - opt for the obvious !

Wandering immature White-tailed? I seem to remember the bird in East Yorkshire turned up around this time of year.

Just been shown a photo of a large bird of prey high in the sky near llanberis snowdonia taken last week. Does look eagle size  ?...  Any ideas
