A lone Redwing on Claremont Rd this morning at 09.00 as it flew over heading NE it look ablaze in the morning sunshine.

Adult Mediterranean Gull with a few Black-headed Gulls on Marple Hall School playing fields this morning. I only saw it in flight as it circled then flew off, calling, to the SW at 10.20.

Called round to John Ireland's house in Marple to see a nice male Brambling in his back garden, almost in full summer plumage.

14.25: As I was leaving we were both surprised to see an Osprey flying NNW low over his house towards Chadkirk Country Estate.
