Colliers-Wood-Gin-Pit-and-AstleyTyldesley(Other Wildlife)

Colliers Wood, yesterday afternoon:

Single Comma, 2 Peacocks and 5 Small Tortoiseshell butterflies.

In one of the larger ditches, c200 metres long, over 180 Sticklebacks in viewable places, including a shoal of 60+ seemingly being pursued by 2 frogs!

Obviously, plenty of frogs and their spawn about too.

A Stoat ran across one fo the paths in Collier's Wood this afternoon and there were plenty of Three-spined Sticklebacks in a few of the ditches and also in the marsh.
