Quick visit on Sunday at the 11am high tide.

Only things of note was the huge Oystercatcher roost, at least 200-300, with a single Dunlin, could've been more but I only saw 1, and a couple of Cormorant low over the sea.

Quick visit following advice from another birder at RSPB Conwy.

Unfortunately no rafts of Common Scoters, no Red-breasted Mergansers or Divers of any kind that I saw, but obviously N.Wales is a good spot for these species, just none today for me.

Of note:
-Oystercatcher in high numbers
-Redshank dotted around
-Dunlin few flocks flying around
-Curlew possibly around 20 maybe more
-Cormorant at least 20
-Gannet flying low over the bay
(More out to sea)
-plenty of Starling
-few Meadow Pipit and Pied Wagtail over
-plenty of Gulls mainly Herring and Black-headed that I could make out
-and a Grey Seal bobbing in the bay eating what looked like a large fish.

...and if you're reading this, the 3 ladies that were really pleased I pointed out the Grey Seal, you made me chuckle when you said there's hardly any birds about, "What???" I said. "There's at least a few 100 out there"

biggrin
