The site teemed with Guillemots, Razorbills, Kittiwakes and Fulmars.
Rock Pipits were easily seen on the cliff tops, with Meadow Pipits along the edge of the adjoining field.. The later still indulging in their parachute displays.
2 pairs of Puffins were seen outside of their burrows, near the RSPB hut, with more detailed info on the board nearby.
Yellowhammers, Linnets and a couple of Tree Sparrows were around the areas of gorse, and a huge flock of Rooks was on the newly cut meadow.

Masses of House Martins and Swifts swooping around cliff tops, 8 Eiders in the bay below the castle, along with 1 Grey Seal.
At least 2 pairs of Fulmars are nesting in the castle ruins, along with Herring Gulls and a single pair of Pied Wagtails. A single Whitethroat was singing/ displaying in scrub near the castle
