On a cycle from Highfield to Orrell res yesterday evening:

3 pheasant (2m 1f)
1 Buzzard swooping in Winstanley Park and making a successful kill - although didn't have my bins to see what it caught.
2 Swallow
1 Chaffinch m
4 Mistle Thrush
1 possible Lapwing, which came over the hedge at Billinge Garden Centre and missed my head by inches! Anyone else know of Lapwing in this area?

Cheers Matt
