The area is three lodges in a wooded valley surounded by new housing development. The top pools are fairly silted up and over shadowed by trees. Some work has been done by a local group on what is a small but new reserve. There are records of some fairly good plants species here but these were absent today. Bird sighting also a bit sparse; Several Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, House Sparrows, flock of Goldfinches and Starlings coot and Canada Geese bottom lodge and more common species.
