Single Green Sandpiper flew over high calling SW over Ashton on Mersey RUFC at 4:15pm today (heading towards Altrincham ETW?).

This morning there was a rather elegant leucistic Black-headed Gull on Harboro Road playing fields (Weathercock Farm to those old enough to remember) - could easily have been mistaken for a Med in flight but smart non the less.

Henry I had a good look round today for the Egret, but no sign anywhere,
not certain who saw it?

Rare Bird Alert reported a Great White Egret flew SE over Ashton upon Mersey at 10.08am this morning.

Sounds like it could be following the Mersey inland. Perhaps Broad Ees Dole/Chorlton WP could draw it in?!
