Think this right area. Whilst fishing at Pennine trout fishery this afternoon an Osprey flew over at 1630 hrs, chased by the resident crows. It didn't stop to fish as the crows are protecting their nest.
Whilst trying to fill in a few gaps for the Atlas for SD91P as we're now in it's last week (much to the relief of my wife!) I was exploring the hillside at the end of Calderbrook Rd (just past the area where it is closed off) and was surprised to find a juv Spotted Flycatcher sunning itself and making the odd flycatching foray. There were no adults with it that I could find so I guess it may not have been bred locally and could be a migrant.
