RE: Carl Zeiss and a Nikon spotting scope for auction on ebay

Hi John,,,Thank you for your reply and i understand your concerns, But EBay should be a good place to sell items, BUT it isn't, There are all sorts of people out there who just mess around and spoil it for a lot of other people, they put bids in and then don't follow through with the transaction, when i contact them they make all sorts of excuses that their children have been playing on the computer and it's them that's to blame for the bidding, I started on eBay in 1999 and now have over 2500 transactions with a good feedback rating of 1841, it was a nightmare then trying to put bids on any high priced items we had to find a sympathetic seller to let us bid, it took me years to buy high priced items, Just like idiots who make viruses to harm our computers and to make as much trouble for us, they are just out to make it as hard as possible for the sellers and bidders,,, The idiots would bid up, and up, and up and then don't pay they spoil it for people who are genuine buyers, 95% of people who ask to bid on an item don't bid in the end,,I ask for people to email me with their intention to buy and hope they are genuine, and if they have followed my terms i then let them bid, but i still don't get it right the odd ones still get through and spoil it, every time they mess around it costs me money, i have to start opening claims with eBay to try and get my fees refunded, the fees are approx £2 or £3 per high price item to sell then when it is sold i have to pay eBay 10% on a sold item, this can be as much as £40,,,I am sorry if this seems a little hard but it still needs to be done,,,Thanks again John Wishing you and your family good health and happiness,,,Ray,,,
