RE: Goa.

A Google search will reveal a wealth of trip reports Chris and having read most of them they're well worth it. There are also some very good, up to date guides of birding the region too which can be obtained via the net (I think Birdguides sells a reasonably new one) which on a price to actual value (in both pre-trip research and of course whilst you're there) is an absolute necessity in my view. For such a magnificent destination you really want to get the most out of it and whilst individual birders might be able to provide a certain amount of information I'd always go with as current and comprehensive stuff as I could, even if that means paying for it. Having some form of site guide in your hand whilst out there is a massive help and is better than the scraps of paper and printed off Google Earth images I usually have to put up with at destinations for which such guides don't exist!
