Decided to bird a bit of the countryside near my brothers relatives this morning as I was in the area.
It was just a case of turning up and seeing what I could find, with 40 species found in total including:
Tree Sparrow (several)
Yellowhammer
Red-Legged Partridge
Willow Warbler
Chiffchaff
Blackcap
Buzzard
Great Spotted Woodpecker
Cormorant
Lesser Black-Backed Gull
I do like to cover my local patch, but this made a pleasant change and will give it another go next time I'm in the area.
