The hide has always been there but hidden from view by the trees. It usually sits in the water, the "scrape" is only there because the water level is low. Don't know what the plans are now it's in the open.
Went to look at the gull roost last night. First visit for a while and obviously noticed the water level has been dropped whilst the repairs, or whatever, are undertaken at the southern end.
Aside from that, the woodland to the left of the boat club has been cut down and there appears to be a hide with a type of 'scrape' area in front.
Does anyone know what the intentions are here with regard to the hide, possible development of the site and any time scale involved?
Great news if it's being turned into some sort of reserve.
