Hi All i went martin mere on the 10.02.2010 heres a list of what i seen.

Mallard
Teal (small flocks on the mere)
Coot
Moorhen
Woodpigeon
Feral Pigeon
Stock Dove (4 seen on the barn roof from the ron barker hide)
Reedbunting (good numbers around the feeding stations)
Blue Tit
Chaffinch
Goldfinch
Red Crested Pochard
Peregrine (made a large flock of lapwing go up frpm the ron barker hide)
Buzzard
Starling
Whooper Swan
Greylag Geese
Jackdaw
Pintail (good numbers seen on the mere today
Shelduck
Wigeon
Grey Heron
Tree Sparrows ( mainly found in the woodland area with nest boxes)
Magpie
Fieldfare (flock of about 50 feeding in the field by the ron barker hide)
Lapwing
Mistle Thrush
Carrion Crow



Ive been keeping my eyes out for Gadwalls does anybody know the best hide were to see them.
