Thanks Pete - just shows how confusing female Flycatchers are - especially seen briefly in fading light (apparently Little Niltava are crepuscular which fits in when I saw it at dusk)
Having received a collage of 3 images from Tony, I've concluded it's a female Small Niltava. A small irresdecant blue neck patch is visible but without a pale oval shaped throat patch, which rules out Rufous-bellied Niltava. Tony had already ruled out Slaty-blue Flycatcher on behaviour.

It's been 13 years since I was in that area, so I'm a bit rusty, but you're giving me flashbacks now Tony . I've just dug out and blown the dust of an old field notebook to check a descriptive sketch I made of a similar looking bird at nearby Ramnagar on 26th Jan 1997, which I concluded was a female Slaty-blue Flycatcher.
Of course we didn't have the gen that is available to us now in those days and had to settle for the old Pictorial Guide. Tricky to say for sure from such a small picture, without calls, jizz and habbo to throw into the mix.
I wouldn't mind seeing some more shots. I'll send you a PM.
