Rachael - at the end of the road where I live, is Ashton in Makerfield's only football club (Ashton Town FC), so I knew it was A-u-L! Actually Peregrines flying around are so common now I don't put them in the day book unless they are doing something unusual or near a potential breeding site.

pregrine flew over Curzon Ashton F C about 1:00 p.m. and landed on nearby pylons.
