Looks like this snow is a bit of a mixed blessing! 7 Lesser Redpolls arrived in our garden in Ellenbrook, Worsley at about 12.30pm today and are still there feeding and feuding over the nyger seed. Managed to get a few good images in spite of the snowfall. Great to see them again.

The first lesser redpoll arrived at the feeders yesterday a few weeks later than last year.
