A good morning for birding yesterday on Bolton RSPB Local Group walk.
Less common birds seen;
20+ Siskins, 1 Common Redpoll, 3 Grey Wagtail, 1 Dipper, 1 Kingfisher, 4 Snipe, 1 Goldcrest, 1 Treecreeper, 1 Nuthatch, 2 Bullfinch, 40+ Redwing, 1 Buzzard, 20+ Rooks, 3 Grey Heron, 4 Gt. Spot. Woodpeckers, 2 Mistle Thrush, 8 Gt. Crest. Grebe.
Clear blue sky & no clouds took a bit of getting used to though.
