HI IAN, OF COURSE I WILL LET STEVE WHITE KNOW ABOUT THE WOODLARKS BUT BEING NEW TO YOUR FORUM IM NOT SURE HOW TO CONTACT HIM. DO YOU HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS OR PHONE NO, REGARDS MIKE
Cheers Mike. No doubt that whole coastline has potential, I've seen Woodchat Shrike at Lytham many, many years ago, right on the front there!
As for the Woodlarks, I would ask if you could find the time to report them to the Lancs recorder, Steve White. Such an important record should not go formally unrecorded, that would be a real shame.
HI IAN, IT IS INDEED ROYAL LYTHAM. IF EVER YOUR IN LYTHAM PERHAPS LOOKING AT WADERS ON THE SAND BANKS, TAKE A LOOK AT THE GOLF COURSE. THERE IS A PUBLIC FOOTPATH ACROSS THE COURSE AT SOUTH END OF IT, ADSAL IS THE AREA. BECAUSE IT IS A LINKS COURSE IE FEW TREES AND PLENTY OF SCRUB, GORSE AND HEATHER IT ATTRACTS NO END OF INTERESTING SPECIES, WELL WORTH AN HOUR OF YOUR TIME, REGARDS MIKE
I'm no golfer Mike so forgive me here, but is this golf course the Royal Lytham & St.Annes course in Lancashire? If so Woodlarks would be an extremely good bird there indeed!
hello everyone, its a bit out of our area but for any womens open golfing fans at royal lytham, keep a look out for woodlarks this weekend, i spotted 2 pairs during 5 hrs of the golf, regards mike haylett
