Chiffchaffs. Robins. Willow Warblers. Ravens. m. Redstarts. 2 GSWs. m and f Chaffinch ++ Carrion Crows++ Curlews in abundance. Tawny Owl heard in the woods
On the lake
Greylag Goose, 1 pair Grebe, little Grebe, Coot.
Lots of Oyster catchers and Lapwings within all of the Trough Of Bowland area. Two Dippers showed well down the river Roeburn but not one Pied Flycatcher or Grey wagtail, Cuckoo or Swift seen or heard all day
First visit to both areas today(usually Dunsop Bridge is our spot normally) but really enjoyed them. Further visits at different times of the season are def on the cards.
