circular walk around and up to the sumit. all the usual stuff coal,blue,great and long tailed tit,chaffinch,goldcrest,tree creeper,great spotted woodpecker,buzzard,kesterel,jay,willow warbler. mammals seen included hare rabbit and field vole
first visit to this place and will defo go again.Lots of coal tit about, out numbering all the other tits. also the most goldcrest i have ever seen .chaffinch gold and greenfinch all seen and singing raptors of note 2 buzzard,2 sparrowhawk,1 kestrel 1 woodpecker heard drumming but not identified curlews in the fields doing their bubbling calls and only 2 magpies nuthatch also heard but not seen. red kites flyin from the top of pendle hill unfortunately not the feathered variety
