Once again, thanks Sid. We will not now make a 30 mile journey to go there, but like a few other places around there, might call in on the way back from Pennington Flash.

At this rate we will be forced to stay in the GM areasmile.gif

I have been to Rixton Clay pits a couple of times - like Risely couldn't get too excited about the place until Mike Baron found a juv Cuckoo there last summer. It's probably worth a look-see if your passing just to satisfy your curiosity.
