Been quiet all winter here may be because of to much water a little bit better this morning.

3 Common Snipe
1 Linnet singing
1 Pied Wagtail
1 Reed Bunting
and best of all a Female Stonechat.

This morning
26 Common Snipe
1 possible Jack Snipe as i didnt get a great view before it went down.
Note a few of the Common Snipe here have the characteristics of the Jack Snipe of flying about 50yds then going down without calling so unless you get a good view you can be duped into thinking that you have seen a Jack Snipe
2 Reed Bunting singing

Peregrine at usual spot this morning looking resplendant in the sunshine. Unfortunately i also learned that the spot would be disapearing soon, but at least a person involved now knows they have a peregrine using it as a regular roosting spot.

Cracking views of Peregrine preening and sunning itself with its wings outstretched.
