Pomona/Exchange quay area today held Drake Goosander, c.30 Sand Martin, 2 Lapwing and a singing Sedge warbler

Walked along the MSC past Pomona a few days ago:

Mute Swan - 14

Cormorant - 10

Lapwing - 1 on canal mud.

Curlew - 1 came off Pomona land and headed off to N.

Sand Martin - c. a dozen.

Single Lapwing and Common Sandpiper on the mud adjacent to Pomona this lunchtime also 2 Jay and several Blackcap in the area

Late afternoon/early evening visit.

Pomona...

17+ sand martins
3 chiffchaffs
4 blackcaps

Trafford wharf...

1 willow warbler
2 chiffchaffs
3 swallows
6 sand Martins
20 mute swans
2 pied wagtails
2 peregrines

Late afternoon visit to pomona.

9 sand Martins
1 kingfisher
3 Goosanders
Cormorant with green darvic ZRE
1 kestrel
8 pied wagtails
5 grey wagtails
1 little grebe
Just 2 chiffchaffs seen/heard
