Just got back from a few days seawatching in Cornwall, plenty of strong winds(great for me but crap for the holiday makers). At least a dozen Corys seen,4 Great Shearwaters, over a 100 Balearic Shearwaters, lots of Storm Petrels, few Arctic,Great and Pom Skuas plus lots of Manxies etc.Cetecean highlights included a Minke Whale breaching about 400yds offshore,Harbour Porpoise,Common Dolphins and a few Basking Sharks. Also managed to drag myself away to a Nightjar site I know down there and had 4 Nightjars in the air together. The only drawback is Guinness is £3.60 a pint!!
