pair of Canada geese with 4 small goslings , one "terrorising" the locals, on the towpath at Castlefield Locks this pm 7.45ish. Also 2 mallard and a thundering great goods train to block the view just as Mr. & Mrs. Goose strated to get agitated with the silly humansfurious.gif

3 Canada geese (and poss. 2 more behind the flats)on Castlefield Locks section of the river Medlock 7.30 p.m.

Oh, and I think I saw Ian's Sandhill Crane flying towards the City Centre along Chester Road as the train passed Pomona!
