Still no sign of Grey Wagtails, had a good hour mooching around Westleigh Brook. There is a section of Westleigh Brook which is not accessible so hopefully they could be around that area.

07:00 till 09:30 Beautiful morning

No sign of Pied Flycatcher or Cuckoo this morning but a stunning Lesser Whitethroat my first this year and at least 3 Grasshopper Warblers. Plenty other Warblers singing with Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler and Blackcap all in fine voice. A male Kestrel was giving good views hunting on the banks of Westleigh brook and the resident Grey Wagtails also present.
A single male Yellowhammer was seen and decent numbers of singing Skylark both at Pickley Green and around the Abbey Lane area.

Female Pied Flycatcher at 7:20pm for five minutes this evening but no further sign by 8:15pm. Also 2 Grasshopper Warblers.

13 Lesser redpoll were the higlights this morning around Pickley green, also 1 Kestrel and a Buzzard also gave good views both birds perched in trees.
