Still no sign of Grey Wagtails, had a good hour mooching around Westleigh Brook. There is a section of Westleigh Brook which is not accessible so hopefully they could be around that area.
1 Tree Pipit decent views then lost as it flew off into cover 2 Grasshopper Warbler seen and 1 more heard 4 Common Whitethroat Plenty Blackcaps they seem to be Everywhere Plenty Chiffchaff and Willow Warbler singing 2 Bullfinch, Both males Kingfisher heard from Lawson Ave football pitch on Westleigh Brook
No sign of Pied Flycatcher or Cuckoo this morning but a stunning Lesser Whitethroat my first this year and at least 3 Grasshopper Warblers. Plenty other Warblers singing with Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler and Blackcap all in fine voice. A male Kestrel was giving good views hunting on the banks of Westleigh brook and the resident Grey Wagtails also present. A single male Yellowhammer was seen and decent numbers of singing Skylark both at Pickley Green and around the Abbey Lane area.

3 Tree Sparrow seen this morning 09:10am all 3 birds in hedgerow down by the side of the football pitch, all 3 birds flew off and not seen again. 1 Willow Warbler 4 Chiffchaff 5 Redpoll 9 Long tailed tits Male Bullfinch 7 Meadow Pipit, Abbey lane area 5 Skylark, Abbey lane area

At least 4 singing Chiffchaffs this morning around Pickley green. Decent numbers of thrushes still about with Redwing, Fieldfare, Song thrush and Mistle thrush all seen. 1 Kestrel 3 Yellowhammer including 1 singing bird 2 Grey wagtail Westleigh brook 4 Goldcrest
Cracking views of Kingfisher this morning with small fish on Westleigh brook. 2 Teal were also present on flood at Abbey lane. 1 Willow tit Heard only 3 Bullfinch including 1 bird calling/singing which is the first time ive heard one doing so
Nothing much to add to saturdays sightings really but a least 4 singing Song thrushes around the site, there was also a Buzzard and a single male Yellowhammer.

9 Grey partridge, Flushed 1 Skylark 3 Meadow pipit 5 Redwing 1 Song thrush in full voice 2 Mute swan 2 Great crested grebes 2 Kestrel 1 Wren 3 Common Snipe, flushed by a walkers dog
13 Lesser redpoll were the higlights this morning around Pickley green, also 1 Kestrel and a Buzzard also gave good views both birds perched in trees. 3 Bullfinch 2 Common Snipe 1 Goldcrest 3 Mistle thrush 1 Song thrush No Redwing or Feildfare this morning. 1 Reed bunting 3 Meadow pipit 1 Skylark Goldfinch,Chaffinch and Greenfinch all seen, First Greenfinch seen for a while. Small Tit flock, Including Blue,Great and Long tailed, and the usual Robin and Blackbird in good numbers. There was also plenty of Woodpigeon about.
