A pre-roost flock of 30 Greenfinch was good to see today. In trees next to large Laurel bushes, presumably where they would be roosting, between Mab's Cross PrImary School and Tesco car park, from where they were visible.

A small area below the nest site has been cordoned off, a few twigs/branches have fallen down, nest site looks safer than last years to me, one of the birds sat in nest early Thursday morning

No sign of Ravens at last years site as the site was cleared about 3 weeks ago of old nesting materials not looked properly yet to see were they might be but the site I think they have gone to is a bit open and to me might not last as the ledge might not be wide enough and the owners might deter them for safety reasons. So until I can find out if this is where they have relocated to we will have to wait and see but just wish they had stayed put. Jimmy
