Anyway other sightings...

5 Mute Swan, 3 adults 2 Cygnets

Gulls a plenty, could only make out Black Heads and Common..But plenty coming into roost it seemed...

Access just off Eddisbury ave urmston.

4 Bullfinch
40+ house sparrow
85 tufted duck
7 gadwall
GC grebe
heron
kingfisher
7 teal PLUS very odd teal.

One male teal today just behind rangers cabin at first thought i had re-found the green winged teal but confused as to what i was seeing.
it was a standard teal but had vertical splodges on the breast side instead of a clear cut vertical stripe, I dont believe this bird is a hybrid but cannot say it was a green-winged teal
so what was it.... TEAL WITH A VERTICAL SPLODGE.
I have taken notes and will submit them to Mr McKerchar as soon as I can.

keep birding.
