Not been here in 30 years. Used to go playing footy with my dad after school. Brought back some memories.

Brought my little lad for a wander and play whilst daughter was a trampoline camp in Broughton.

Highlights were a pair of Nuthatch  and aTreecreeper in the same tree  and a fight between a Great Tit and a Wren over a perch, the Wren won!!

Blackbird x 4

Carrion crow x 2

Goldfinch x 6

Great Tit x 3

House Sparrow x 2

Magpie x 6

Nuthatch x 2

Robin x 1

Starling x 15

Treecreeper x 1

Woodpigeon x 11

Wren x 2

Cheers

Bryan

20th November.

am.

1 male Brambling in the park. biggrin.gif

Plus 7+ Chaffinch, 1 Goldcrest, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Sparrowhawk, 4+ Mistle Thrush, c10 Goldfinch feeding on alder cones and Lesser Redpoll and Siskin heard flying over.

4 Pied Wagtails were here but I was a bit surprised to find right in the middle of the park (and some distance away from the nearest water) a Grey Wagtail foraging through the leaf litter!

Cheers,

Bill.

2 Song Thrush this morning but didn't see the parakeet - seen it on 2 out of 5 recent visits, both times by the bowling greens and very active and noisy late morning/early afternoon
