Lucky enough to get a quick 45 mins at Slimbridge today whilst in the area. Kingfisher showing very well from the aptly named Kingfisher hide - plus first ever Siskin and Redpoll for my list. Bean geese have gone as have most swans and geese - leaving Barnacles, feral Greylag, loads of Curlew and one Snipe close to a hide.
Didn't have time to look for the American Wigeon and the Med gulls that were supposed to be about. Although given its Slimbridge you surely have to wonder about the status of the American Wigeon?
I know what you mean with regards to the rain! We got trapped in work at Slimbridge on Friday and was forced to sleep there over night!! The road leading down to Slimbridge was totally cut off, luckly we managed to get all the visitors out though!

Spotted Redshank and White-fronted Geese at Slimbridge. No sign of the Bean Goose, Cettis or Temmincks Stint though Also literally hundreds of Fieldfare and Redwing here.
