2 Siskins by the Lilly Pond this am. Plenty of Redpoll about and 4 Willow Tit, 2 Coal Tit and Goldcrest with L-t Tits around Feeding Station/Play Area.
No Redwing/Fieldfares, but 10 Song Thrush and 4 Blackbirds all in the same bush near the riding stables weirdface.gif

i went jogging round the viridor wood section of the 3 sisters a couple of days back and saw a lot of bird activity. more than usual. it seems to come alive with bird life in the winter. I didnt have my binoculars but noticed a good 30 odd pipits (meadow?), a few pied wagtail, a flock of fieldfare in a tree, redwing, flock of goldfinches. I'll have to go specifically for a bird watch one day, and see what i get.

1 Goosander - drake still largely in eclipse plumage
1 Pintail - drake
4 Pochard - all drakes
3 Tufties
1 Redwing
1 Willow Tit
3 Bullfinch...
