Pair of Stock done present. 7 Willow Tit including 5 fledged young - confirmed for the Atlas at long last! Also Tawny Owl and GSW confirmed breeders in this square.
Whitethroats all over, and lots of young Blue and Long-tailed tits.
Also had a Siskin at Whitefield Golf club on the way home.

Green Sand and Snipe (1st time seen this autumn!!) - very over grown for these 2 species now - one of the pools nearset the motorway has dried up exposing lots of mud.
Gadwall 6 with now 5 broods 21 young in total Teal 2 Tufted Duck 30 Mallard 68 with 6 broods 33 young in total Mute Swan pair have 4 well grown cygnets Little Grebe 12 inc at least 2 juv's Coot and Moorhen also have well grown young
Blackcap, Whitethroat and Chiffchaff still singing, Sedge Warbler Seen, Linnet, Goldfinch and Greenfinch also visting nest sights other than that very very quiet

In the tetrad Willow Warbler 28, Blackcap 13, Chiffchaff 5, Wren 19, Robin 22, Whitethroat, Lsr Redpoll 3, Siskin 2, Linnet 5, Goldfinch 13, Bullfinch 4, GSW, Treecreeper, Spwhawk, Buzzard - the one with a hole in its wing, Lapwing 11, Swallow 10, Blackbird 27 and Long tailed tit 6.

Hobby Driving home from work 4 50.p.m. watched a Hobby fly over Ringley Road West near outwood. Nearly the same time and place I saw one two years ago.
