Come on boys, no conferring now biggrin.gif

As for not entering due to missing the early months it really doesn't matter, it's never too late! You might not be in the running for the prize but you'll certainly enjoy the competition, remember, it's not the winning that's important it the taking part..... wink.gif

There are certainly 9 species in the image (8 'easy'...yeah, right!), if you can find any others that I didn't you deserve some extra points atleast smile.gif

Sorry, just 8. Although I don't enter this competition (discovered this site after the comp. had started) I'm intrigued by this hidden bird, I'll keep looking.

Oo-er, I just saw this and had a quick look, I thought I found 9 species, but nothing hidden or cryptic. I'd better have another look.

Ok I have to admit that Mr McKerchar has got me.

Ian are you absolutely sure its 8 species and not 7biggrin.gif. I can see seven species but then the last one is eluding me. I think I've found the one we're not supposed to be able to find, but then it could just be one of the 8 if you get my meaning. If it is, I've no chance of finding the other cause this ones a crippler itself.

Hats off to you Ian - this one should be really interesting.
