That beats me, I saw 1 red head gooseander about 2.30 p.m. and a kingfisher. A local resident told me he had seen 6 together midweek.

Im talking sunday p.m. not today.

Ian I almost forgot, i saw a pair of Goosanders there early this am.

3 female gooseanders present on river this a.m. Ive seen birds present on each of 4 visits this month, also a kingfisher and 3 pied and 2 grey wags. The location is right in the centre of radcliffe between the two road bridges.

Saturday morning 10 am between the two road bridges :1 Dipper, 1Kingfisher,pair Grey Wagtails with young, at least 13 pairs of Sand Martins nesting in wall of Market Hall and in opposite bank, 5 Log Tailed Tit, 4 Goldfinch, 1 Song Thrush
