Grasshopper warbler heard reeling this evening, not seen in the hour I was looking for it. Reed warbler at the dry wier. 3 Reed buntings 2 ravens 2 stock doves 1 grey heron 40+ ring-necked parakeets going to roost.
Little Egret (juv) by the drainage channel, until disturbed by dogs, when flew towards the river. Presumably the same bird seen earlier at Chorlton Ees; see record shots in separate post (https://manchesterbirding.activeboard.com/t9856511/chorlton-ees/?page=1#comment-68736250).
Also a single Common Swift fly-catching here, but apart from that, nothing of note.

I haven't taken advantage of the daily exercise the government has required us to do, so today was the first time for me in almost 3 weeks that I decided to get on my bike & glad I did. The female redstart showed well & was slightly off my planned route but made a refreshing change from the usual garden birds, I didn't stay to long as I actually felt uncomfortable & needed to burn of several more calories Also blackcaps & Chiffchaffs along hawthorn lane.
