Last spring I had a pair of bullfinches in my garden. I have lived in this area for 15 years and had never seen a bullfinch in this immediate area before. Yesterday whilst up on my allotment next to smithalls country park I thought I heard a bullfinch but never saw it but this morning there was a male on my feeder in the garden.
Moses Gate is the only place I know where to find bullfinch but that is 3 miles away. Has anyone seen bullfinch in the astley bridge, Belmost area before?
