Saw these birds at 4.00pm today (cause i needed Whoopers for Rumworth) so it was amazing to find out these were Bewicks when we got there, a very nice new bird for Bolton for me.

PS.. Ian the new website is impressive!

After a slight misidentification by the finder, the Whoopers at Rumworth were infact Bewick's  ! The flock of 15 adults and a single immature were still present at 15:05 at least.

Phil Rhodes had an excellent flock of 16 Whooper Swans at Rumworth this morning (thanks to Phil for the info.....)
