1 singing Song Thrush 1 singing Dunnock c20 Sand Martins A total of 29 LBB Gulls over towards the Quays 1 male Kestrel (very dark, looks like it must be going to dirty/sooty places ?) 1 Pied Wagtail 1 Cormorant 10 Mallard 3 Blackbird 1 Robin 1 Wren 4 Carrion Crow 1 Willow Warbler 5 BH Gull 1 Grey Heron 2 Magpie 1 Goldfinch
Surprisingly no bats seen, has anyone seen bats here, looks like a good location

Unfortunately my walk was interrupted by 2 undesirables emerging from the undergrowth near to where I was walking and my quick walk back to my car was met by an irate security guard who wasn't happy on where I had parked.

on my way home from work yesterday wednesday 23rd had a diversion to pomona and seen the following.. between 4.00-4.30pm 7 sand martin 3 oystercatchers 3 lapwings 2 canada goose 1 mistle thrush 4 cormorants 5 mallard 2 lbb gulls 2 greenfinch carrying nesting materials
on my way home from work today thursday 24th another diversion to pomona and seen the following.. between 4,00-4.30pm 6 sand martin 1 grey heron 1 lapwing 7 magpies 4 cormorant 1 lbb gull 5 mallard
The whole site now looking good for Lapwings, Plovers, Skylarks, pipits, so I would urge observers to visit the site to gain as many records as possible

Almost all scrub cleared from the site, no workmen present, 21 bird species (but no Bullfinch or Song Thrush & passerine numbers down from previous surveys)

The land adjacent to the office building now totally cleared, had a quick walk over, used to be good for snipe this time of year but nothing. 3 Lapwing with a handful of BH Gull on the metal roof of the building on the opp side of ship canal.
1 JCB (marked Forestry Services) & 2 workmen with chainsaws taking out the scrub at the north side of the site, also towards the middle of the site, further evidence of trees being cut, mulching & a concrete pathway being made

Alongside the ship canal at Baily's Building Supplies (just past the Pomona tram stop). On the white corrugated roof of the building with grey walls in a red frame, 8 Lapwing, 4 Grey Heron, 95 Black-headed Gulls and 1 Herring Gull were roosting, on the roof. Photo obtained.
