nice suprise for you hope it sticks around, I have a sparrowhawk that flies through the garden
at the speed off light and have never got my glasses or scope on it (platt bridge resident 10 years with this garden) untill this saturday when it perched in a nieghbours tree for 1/2 hour or so so i could admire it
A Little Owl roosted all day in a Hawthorn in my garden today and was still there at dusk attracting the attention of at least 5 Blackbirds, Magpie and several smaller species. I lived at this address (Aspull) for 20 years and this is the first appearance of a bird in my garden although they are resident nearby.
