Cob Kiln Wood, Urmston

It's presumably the same dipper, and possibly also the one sometimes seen under Flixton Bridge. It wasn't on the weir yesterday afternoon when I was there but it shot past me upstream as I was walking along the river to Kickety Brook.

(As typos go, that was unfortunate. Apologies for any offence.)

Presumably the same Dipper referred to on here a few times - Urmston Meadows

No Dipper today but we did see the Little Egret just downstream of the bridge.

Flock of 6 redpolls feeding in alders by the path near the old pond.
