Irlam Locks to Jack Lane - Have You Used This Path?
Have you used the path that runs south alongside the Ship Canal from Irlam Locks then east alongside the railway embankment to meet Jack Lane? The path is shown in purple on the map below.
The path has been closed off at the Irlam Locks end by metal fencing for some time. Recently this end of the path has also become part of a building site with a Hydro Electric generation plant under construction. Once the construction work has been completed, we want to get the path re-instated.
