The only large bird of prey you're likely to see in that area is a Buzzard, so correctly ID'd
They can be fairly trusting, and the circling in warm weather is typical
Size is always very difficult to judge, even for experienced birders, unless there's something to compare it with. Shape compared to other species, & behaviour (as well as plumage of course), are good indicators of what you're looking at. The more you see, the better you get
Seen a very large bird of prey at the bottom of my garden in the trees wing span of say three to six foot it sometimes circles high in sky looks like a buzzard as anyone had any sighting of this bird ??
