I've used to explore a couple of sites on the Greek mainland west coast and found it very useful. You can also download it in app form, but I cant remember the app reader for it, which I have on my ipad at home?

Hi Ian,
Just google Birding in Thassos or Northern Greece. There's plenty of good trip reports to read and by the sounds of it there's some good birding to be had too.
It does say the mainland is far better than the islands, but I didn't do badly at all, when we were in Zante there were birds everywhere (my holiday post from 2yrs ago is on the forum) and it wasn't a birding holiday, so I'd say the islands do ok for birds.
A trip to the mainland looks to be a good option whatever the birding is like on the island as they have a Vulture feeding station in the Dadia Forest region, sounds like that can get very busy with Raptors!

Just booked a holiday here for the last 2 weeks in September, would really appreciate any information on any good birding sites on the Island.
