Looks like Waxwings must be celebrating the coming of spring-reported on Birdguides today-In Derbys,Mickleover,45 Waxwings frequenting the Robin Pub on Devonshire Drive !!!

The way that 2 Mistle (Missile?) Thrushes were keeping 40+ Waxwings at bay in Hyde today they may have to include pizza in their diet if they stick around ! With the amount of junk food adorning Hyde pavements they wouldn't have much trouble surviving if they decide to become less choosy in their diet.

Seriously though there are still a few places with berries around Hyde, so the current flock could still stay locally once all the berries have gone near the motorcycle place.
