If you have never visited the WWT Caerlaverock Reserve, I would highly recommend it.
The Rochdale Field Naturalists' Society are running an all day Coach trip to Caerlaverock Wetland Reserve on the Solway coast, Dumfries, leaving Old Manchester Rd., Rochdale (OL11 4HY) at 8am.
Expect to see masses of Barnacle Geese and Whooper Swans amongst other wintering birds.
