Vicky, did you get fixed up with a tripod? I gave you duff gen, the tripod I referred to, a Slik D3, stands 133cm high, but extended, which is more important, it extends to 161 cm high!
Vicky, I have a tripod for sale which I am selling for the widow of a late birder. It is a Slik D3 tripod, stands 133cm high, has 2 twist grips to each leg, weights 2.5kg, in good condition, really not been used much, and comes with a lightweight Camex soft case with shoulder strap. Don't want a lot for it, if you collect. Also got this late birder's telescope, if Father Christmas didn't bring you one.
Does anybody have a decent tripod they no longer need. I am getting a scope for christmas but need a good tripod to use. Can anybody offer the best types of tripods available reasonably priced.
